I cook for what?

Why do I bother?
Tonight I cooked Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, and broccoli slaw. My children ate strawberries and the dog had Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes. Gee glad I spent that hour in the kitchen cooking a nice healthy meal for my kids.

Welcome to my world, darling...LOL! I totally feel for you! Don't get discouraged. They will learn that you are not a short order cook! You know we agree on this subject. Your bday is tomorrow? Why didn't I know this?

I came by to leave my mark on your BIRTHDAY!! I hope you have a great day. Perhaps those children of yours will decide to get picky about cake all of a sudden and leave it all for you. hehehe - just a thought! ;-)

Somehow, amazingly, eventually you'll get comments like "this is great mommy" and "I love this meal" This ONLY from my son - he's just so sweet. Sometimes he'll just say "you look pretty mommy." Man I love him :) Until then it's throwing, spitting, avoiding and complaining (this from the 7-year old). Good for you for trying!

And Happy Birthday I guess :) I hope you enjoy your last year in your teens :)
